Victor Lembo

Senior Attorney

Victor Lembo's passion for estates and trusts was sparked during a profoundly personal experience - assisting his grandparents as they navigated the intricate paths of medical and financial planning. This early exposure instilled in him not only a love for the intricacies of the law but also an understanding of its deeply human side.

A distinguished scholar, Victor achieved the honor of graduating summa cum laude from Towson University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Not stopping there, he further honed his expertise at the University of Baltimore School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor with a specialized Concentration in Estate Planning.

Post-academia, Victor began his legal journey at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City as a judicial law clerk. Later, he progressed to a pivotal role at a prominent Baltimore law firm, stepping into the shoes of a Managing Attorney. There, he oversaw the daily intricacies of a comprehensive legal services program. Before becoming an integral part of the Stouffer Legal team, Victor dedicated his skills in Annapolis, offering solace and expert assistance to families during the trying times that follow the loss of a loved one. Having personally settled hundreds of estates, Victor is well-versed in the nuanced challenges and rewards of the process.

Today, as a cornerstone of Stouffer Legal, Victor specializes in estate planning, trust administration, probate, and elder law. He leads with both efficiency and empathy as the head of the Estate Administration Department. His commitment to excellence is unwavering, always aiming to provide comprehensive and compassionate legal service.

Yet, what sets Victor apart is his unique approach to his practice. He believes in not just advising, but educating his clients. He prides himself on demystifying complex legal jargons, translating them into easy-to-understand terms. Every consultation is an opportunity for him to get to know his clients, understanding their concerns and visions, and collaboratively assembling the pieces of their estate puzzle.

People Often Ask...

  • How would you describe your approach when getting to know a client?
"When I first sit down with a client, empathy is the cornerstone of my approach. I truly believe that understanding a client's unique needs and emotions is crucial to offering tailored estate planning advice. My clients often comment on the patience I exhibit during our interactions. I give them the time they need to express their concerns, questions, and visions without ever making them feel rushed. This patience dovetails perfectly with my commitment to active listening. To me, every word spoken by my clients is vital; it provides insight into their world, their priorities, and their dreams. And throughout this process, my goal is to make our conversation as effortless and comfortable as chatting with an old friend. After all, estate planning is not just about legal documentation; it's about building lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect."
  • What would you say are your distinct strengths and capabilities as an estate planning attorney?
"In the realm of estate planning, being knowledgeable isn't merely a bonus; it's an absolute necessity. I've spent countless hours honing my expertise, ensuring that I'm always abreast of the latest legal nuances and changes. But expertise alone isn't enough. The personal nature of estate planning requires an attorney to be relatable, and that’s a quality I cherish and actively cultivate. I understand that every family, individual, and situation is unique. This understanding aids me in bridging the gap between complex legal procedures and the personal stories of each client. One of the attributes I'm most proud of is my problem-solving prowess. Estate planning can often present intricate challenges, but I revel in these complexities. With an analytical mindset, I dissect every issue, aiming to provide not just a solution but the best solution tailored to my clients' needs. At the heart of it all, I am deeply resolution-driven. I am not satisfied with mere answers; I strive for resolutions that stand the test of time, ensuring peace of mind and security for the families I serve."

What I Do For Fun...

  • I enjoy spending quality time with my children and family, enjoying simple dinners or vacations together. The beach is a favorite getaway for us, providing a peaceful break from everyday life.
I'm passionate about sports, especially supporting the Washington Capitals in hockey and wearing my Ravens jersey during football season. I admire their teamwork and spirit, making watching their games more than just a hobby for me. These interests, along with family time and beach visits, add balance and joy to my life, complementing my professional commitments.

Stouffer Legal assisted me with estate issues and advice in a very caring and straightforward manner. I am in Ohio and they understood the issues and presented viable options for me in dealing with the Maryland estate. Mr. Lembo was thoughtful and respectful, and took the time to listen and understand during a difficult family time.

The legal team is awesome, professional, dedicated, and well-informed in the field of expertise. I worked with Victor Lembo and Victor means business. I was especially impressed with his terminology and knowledge of my situation regarding my grandmother's house, my entitlement rights, and I know he's going to make this happen. Victor made me feel a sense of security in this situation.
