Colin Dolan

Associate Attorney

Hailing from Westchester, New York, Colin grew up surrounded by the world of law, thanks to his two legal-savvy parents. A thirst for new adventures led him to pack his bags and head to Baltimore, where he joined Towson University in 2012, majoring in Criminal Justice.

Joining the Stouffer Legal family in 2016, Colin initially brought his expertise as a legal assistant. But, true to his relentless ambition, he soon decided it was time to put on the attorney hat himself. Pursuing his legal degree at the University of Baltimore School of Law, Colin was officially welcomed into the Maryland legal fraternity in November 2022.

Today, Colin's passion thrives in helping clients navigate the intricacies of Probate and Trust Administration. He understands the profound relief that comprehensive planning brings to families and individuals, offering them the peace of mind they rightly deserve. An intriguing feather in his cap? Colin's deep knowledge of Firearms Law, encompassing areas like Concealed Carry Permits and Gun Trusts.

Rather than just reviewing numbers and documents, I delve deeper, seeking to truly understand their life's narrative, passions, and aspirations. By anchoring our conversations in authenticity and genuine interest, I believe we can create estate plans that are not just legally robust, but also deeply personal and reflective of each client's unique journey."
  • What would you say are your distinct strengths and capabilities as an estate planning attorney?
"My greatest strength lies in my innate ability to connect and empathize with individuals from all walks of life. This isn't just about being a 'people person'; it's about truly understanding and valuing the diverse narratives that each client brings to the table. With every interaction, I commit to seeing the world through their eyes, ensuring that our estate planning process is not only efficient but also deeply meaningful and tailored to each individual's unique life story."

What I Do For Fun...

  • Outside the office, I love to travel and have many places I want to visit. Hong Kong is at the top of my travel wish list.
I also enjoy playing golf for its mix of challenge and relaxation, and I’m a big fan of the New York Jets.

I could not have entrusted another law office with my estate planning needs. The entire staff is deeply knowledgeable and professional. I am so glad I was referred to this establishment. They helped me navigate through a variety of options that met my needs perfectly, I'll be a client for life.

Stouffer Legal was referred to my husband and I by our financial planner. We had no idea what "Estate Planning" was but he told us we needed to strongly consider it. The process at Stouffer from beginning to end was an excellent experience and we highly recommend them!
