Dexter Downs hails originally from the vibrant city of Bluefields, Nicaragua, but the sun-soaked shores of Naples, Florida, have been his home for the lion's share of his life. Graduating from Barron Collier High School in 2012, Dexter's passion for football ignited two stellar varsity seasons, showcasing his dedication and drive.

Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dexter pursued a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Political Science at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he immersed himself in student governance, gaining firsthand insight into the legislative intricacies in Tallahassee. His academic journey culminated in a graduation from Emory University School of Law in May 2019, where he distinguished himself as a member of the prestigious Journal of Law and Religion.

Before joining Stouffer Legal, Dexter honed his legal acumen at a prominent law firm in Orlando, Florida, specializing in Commercial Real Estate. His role saw him at the forefront of numerous high-stakes transactions across the nation, including a landmark thirty-two-million-dollar deal in Pooler, Georgia. Dexter's diverse experience also includes a stint on Capitol Hill as an intern for Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart, where he gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of legislative processes.

Now, armed with a wealth of transactional law experience, Dexter is thrilled to channel his expertise into helping clients navigate the complexities of estate planning and business succession planning within their estate arrangements.
